Townsend House Completed

cfes has successfully handed over Townsend House. Townsend House is cfes’s second off-site modular construction project, in which cfes acted as the main contractor providing a complete turn-key package from initial design and planning permission to the installation, internal fit out and handover.

Townsend House is located in the heart of Soho, London. cfes uses the off-site approach because of the huge benefits it offers to all parties whether they be a current tenant or client, some of these benefits are reduced volumes of site labour, less site deliveries, improved quality, better working conditions, no scaffold to the front of the building, improved health and safety, programme benefits, as well as other economical, environmental and social advantages.

cfes constructed the modules for Townsend House in a warehouse located in South London, once completed the modules were transported to site and craned onto the top over a single weekend.
