cfes Specialist Projects Division install off site apartment

cfes the building services and specialist construction company has successfully installed an off-site penthouse apartment on Albemarle Street, Mayfair London. On April 4th and 5th cfes team installed 8 structural units onto the roof top of Cardinal House to form a 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom penthouse apartment with duplex master suite.

The penthouse was built off-site in cfes in house factory in South London and transported to site on the morning of Saturday 4th April and Sunday 5th April respectively. Albemarle Street was closed off and a 100t crane was used to lift the 8 units into position.

An off-site approach was taken to this project in order to minimize disruption to tenants within (and neighboring) the building through a reduced workforce on site, reduced site deliveries, no scaffolding to the front of the building as well as the other benefits associated with Modern Methods of Construction.
