Cardinal House handed over to client

Cardinal House, the off-site penthouse apartment designed and built by cfes has been successfully handed over to our client. cfes acted as Main Contractor and Project Manager for the scheme providing the client with a turnkey solution spanning initial design and planning permission to installation and handover. The off-site penthouse is an extension to a five-story building in Mayfair, London.

Using the off site construction approach offered may benefits to the client and the tenants of Cardinal House including reduced volumes of site labour, less site deliveries, improved quality, better working conditions, no scaffold to the front of the building, improved H&S, programme benefits, as well as other economical, environmental and social advantages.

Once complete the modules where transported to site and craned onto the roof top over a single weekend. Using this method reduces the amount of time, labour & noise down on-site dramatically and in the case of Cardinal House this was vital as the four floors below were already tenanted by busy working offices.

The apartment was let during its first viewing to the delight of our client!.
